  1. I learned about the Partition of India and what it was. India and Pakistan become separate countries and the Muslims having to move if they lived in Pakistan and how hard that was. I didn’t even know that this event even happened so I got a history lesson in a very interesting/fun way.

  2. I learned about the history of India because I always thoght that Pakistan and India were seperate countries and the were any religions they wanted to be.

  3. I learned a lot about the history of India from this book. One thing I learned was that Pakistan was originally part of India but was separated from India because the different religions couldn’t get along. Also, I learned that in 1947, India was released from British rule. I found these facts interesting because India was a country that I didn’t know a lot about.

  4. I learned that India gained independence on August 15th 1947 from the British rule. I also learned that Pakistan was a part of India but then this war started and now they’re 2 different countries. I also learned that there are still many Muslims in India.

  5. I learned that there were a lot of bad choices by their government and a lot of people got hurt because of it

  6. I didn’t know that Pakistan was originally part of India. I also didn’t know that India was under British rule for over 200 years.
