  1. The name of the painting I chose was called Self-Portrait with Monkey. I noticed that in the portrait, her hair looks almost green. This makes me think that she wants to be out in the world and see things. Also, the monkey has an arm around her shoulders. This tells me that she thought of monkeys as friendly creatures. Also, it makes me think that we are part of the world and the animals around the world deserve better from humans.

  2. Self-portrait with monkey: I noticed her hair is down and up and the monkey has his/hers hair was up to. That remaionds me of how she cares, loves, and thinks of her and her monkey as friends. Also how and humans & animals are connected and how how we should take care of nature.

  3. My book is not exactly mystery but Paloma reminds me of Sophronia Temminick from the finishing school books by Gail Carriger. They are similar because they both have to track down information on their own or with a friend.
