I felt like this book was a very good documentation of what occurred within the first few months of the war between Ukraine and Russia. I think I would’ve preferred one perspective throughout the whole book documenting their own personal experience in Mariupol during those first 83 days. Overall, though, the book’s message gets across very well through the graphics and context of the tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

I thought this book was very good. It was very relevant to today’s world and very informative. It seems like a good resource for people who struggle to read lengthy articles, while explaining what happening and why. I would definitely recommend this book.

This is probably the fastest read on the list. But it is a very important one; it really opened my eyes to all the terrors people are going through in this modern war.

This was another great book about a tragic and terrifying event. I always enjoy how real this graphic novel is. It was a very intense read and view into what is happening in our world at that time.

Very short read. I wasn’t really satisfied and kind of wanted more, but it did make me remember that the war never ended.

This book was an eye opening experience. When the war in Ukraine broke out in 2022, I didn’t know the sheer demolition of people and buildings in Ukraine. I still did not know how bad the war was until I read this book. It’s a short book but it puts in a lot of Gorey details about the war and how has it effected the residents of Mariupol and Ukraine. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about the war that is still ongoing in Ukraine and Russia.

I thought this graphic novel was pretty good. It was a very short read. I thought it was interesting that it didn’t follow any person’s story. I also thought it was interesting because the war in Ukraine is still ongoing.
