Our current math program is called GO MATH! It is published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. By the end of the first grade year, your child should know:

*addition and subtraction facts to 12

*strategies for adding and subtracting to 20

*place value to 120

*how to skip count by 2, 5, 10

*how to tell time to the hour and half hour

In addition to mastering those skills, your child will be given exposure to many other math concepts.We will cover addition and subtraction strategies to 20, geometry, simple fractions, measurement, tables and graphs, and even/odd numbers. Our math series will build on these topics each year.
