Welcome to Mrs. Strafford’s First Grade Blog!
I used to use this blog for parent communication. Trying to keep up with the times, I now use the app, Class Dojo, on my cell phone. I will be sending each family a link to connect with me on Class Dojo. It is through Class Dojo that I will share photos, class news, as well as behavior updates. However, this blog still serves the purpose of providing families with information. I also still use this blog for students to access the home page from their school iPad Mini for helpful links or related videos.
For now, please check some of the pages listed on the right hand side. Most of the pages are written to provide parents with information about our first grade curriculum. The page titled “Educational Links to Explore” is designed for students to click on internet sites that are kid friendly.

Thank you for looking up this blog! I am so happy that our first grade friend enjoys playing some of the games on Educational Links to Explore. Since I’m using Class Dojo, I don’t use this blog as often. However, there is some good information for reference under PAGES, so I continue to keep the blog accessible.
